YOGA PRACTITIONER

I’ve been practicing yoga for more than 15 years now. In 2019 I traveled to Thailand to take my first 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Samma Karuna on the island of Phangan. I spent a month studying daily and following completion volunteering and teaching classes at the Yoga centre there I developed a great connection with the people in the yoga community there. In 2020 I enrolled in another 200 hour teacher training course through Higher Yoga Academy, based out of Thailand as well and followed that course with a 300 hour course through the same school. I have taught small classes in my home and look forward to being able to offer this practice to more people. Yoga brings me great peace and I enjoy sharing this practice with others.

Types of Yoga:

1) Hatha Yoga uses Asana (postures), Pranayama (Breathe), and meditation to create a mind/body connection.
2) Yina Yoga is a slower paced style of yoga exercise. Postures are mostly done on the floor and held for time. Wonderful to increase flexibility.

Both types great for all ages.
